Mind chooses Planet Smart City, soon to include an app and a platform: "We'll share projects and activities."

The goal is to strengthen the identity of the district born in the former Expo area, which aims to become an international point of reference for innovation

The Mind – Milano Innovation District hub, born from the redevelopment of the former area that hosted Expo 2015 with a total investment of 4.5 billion euros, entrusts the development of its digital platform “Mind Live” to Planet Smart City, a tech company active since 2015 in the development of smart neighborhoods and communities at an international level. “We are providing our experience in developing digital platforms and managing complex communities to support the growth of a district that aims to become an international point of reference for innovation and collaboration between the public, research, and business,” comments Pietro Putetto, CEO of BU Advisory. Thanks to the collaboration with Planet Smart City, the district’s official app and the digital platform’s website will be created. The new tools will allow us to disseminate information, promote events, share the area’s evolution, and stimulate the active participation of MINDers. The platform will also become a hub for communicating initiatives, projects, and editorial content, strengthening the district's identity and fostering connections between the hub's diverse visitors and workers.

Mind, born from the regeneration of the Expo area, today represents a meeting place and forum for the new frontiers of Italian and European technological research and biosciences. Conceived as a sustainable and inclusive city, the hub constitutes a new neighborhood in the northwest area of Milan, currently 30 percent complete, which already hosts important Milanese institutions such as the Galeazzi – Sant’Ambrogio Hospital, the Triulza Foundation and, soon, the scientific campus of the University of Milan.
