The hunt for Olympic pins is on: hundreds are queuing for the first one distributed in Nolo.

YesMilano's initiative: inspired by a neighborhood or a city icon, they will be distributed daily at a location that will be revealed online every morning at 8:00 a.m.

The first "City Official Pins" dedicated to the Milano Cortina Games sold out in just two hours. The rush for the first of twelve pins created by YesMilano began today in Milan's Nolo neighborhood: hundreds of people lined up in front of the "Noi" neighborhood bookstore for their turn to receive a free one.

Recognized as an "official product" of the Games, the collection of Olympic and Paralympic pins is designed to enhance the identity of Milan's neighborhoods and their most iconic symbols. The pin distributed today in dozens is the first in the series and depicts a ping pong paddle to symbolize the iconic Piazza Arcobalena in Nolo, a meeting place for young people who want to play a game or simply have a drink at one of the square's many bars.

In addition to Nolo, every day from February 7th to 18th, six other pins will be distributed dedicated to Milan's neighborhoods, including Brera, Sarpi, Isola, Porta Romana, Porta Venezia, and Navigli. The remaining five have been designed to represent some of Milan's most iconic symbols: the Duomo, Sforza Castle, Torre Velasca, San Siro, and last but not least, Panettone.

The pin collection location will be announced every morning at 8:00 a.m. on YesMilano's social media pages, and they will be distributed while supplies last. The next one will be tomorrow near Torre Velasca, with the dedicated pin. Those less fortunate who can't collect it in time can purchase it directly from the official Milano Cortina stores around Milan.

YesMilano's initiative is just the confirmation of one of the longest-standing traditions linked to the Games: pin collecting, now considered a collateral Olympic discipline in which everyone can participate.

Precisely for this reason, the Milano Cortina Foundation, together with Warner Bros. Discovery, has decided to introduce the "Official Olympic Pin Trading Center" at the Looney Tunes temporary shop on Via De Cristoforis, where the most passionate collectors can buy and exchange Olympic and Paralympic pins.
