A nightclub in Rogoredo has been closed for safety reasons: it's the second in Milan after the fire in Crans.

Another nightclub was temporarily closed in Rogoredo due to serious safety violations and the use of irregular workers. The measure comes just hours after the eight-day closure of the Moma Club in Crema ordered by the police commissioner of the province of Cremona following a fire caused by the use of fireworks similar to those used at "Le Constellation" in Crans-Montana on New Year's Eve. This time, however, the focus shifts to the Milanese suburbs. and, in particular, a nightclub in Rogoredo, identified during a series of checks ordered by the Provincial Committee for Public Order and Safety. The nightclub's closure is part of the debate over the safety of Milan's nightlife, a central issue following the New Year's Eve fire, in which several young people lost their lives due to the lack of safety measures inside the club.

In recent days, Milan's mayor, Beppe Sala, had publicly expressed his desire to intensify checks on the city's nightclubs, reiterating the need to prevent potentially dangerous situations. Just last Tuesday, in the heart of Milan, the local police led by Gianluca Mirabelli intervened inside the Coa Milano, a club in the Porta Venezia area, where numerous customers were dancing in the basement in clear violation of safety regulations. Following the intervention, the owner, a thirty-five-year-old, was reported and the club was placed under seizure: this is the first measure of this type adopted to protect the safety of Milan's nightlife after the New Year's Eve massacre in Crans-Montana.

"The results of the services carried out confirm the effectiveness of the operational strategies implemented to raise security standards in the area," declared the Prefect of Milan, Claudio Sgaraglia, specifying that these checks will be repeated regularly.
